Kentucky Black Deaf Advocates, Inc

 

Welcome to KYBDA, Inc                                                                                                                                                                                           The Kentucky Black Deaf Advocates (KYBDA) was established in June 2003 as a "Pending Chapter". August 6, 2006, the KYBDA became an affiliate chapter of the National Black Advocates, Inc. and is currently recognized as "Kentucky Black Advocates (KYBDA) Chapter #31".

The Mission of the KYBDA

  1. To promote the educational, cultural, social, and economic advancement of Deaf and Hard of Hearing African Americans in Kentucky.
  2. To focus on advocacy to help the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Citizens of Kentucky with many issues.
  3. To work closely with different organizations, agencies, and employers.
  4. To provide training and support of the "American Disabiities Act" to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Communities.
